Germany edge into the semis

Germany just beat Portugal 3-2 in an enthralling contest at the quarter finals of the Euro 2008. Bastian Schweinsteiger scored the first goal and set up another as Miroslav Klose scored it. Nuno Gomes scored the first goal for Portugal. The second half saw two goals with each team coming up with one and Micheal Ballack and Helder Postiga were the main beneficiaries.
