NETS EXACT REVENGE ON PACERS

New Jersey nets and Richard Jefferson rose to the occasion and exacted revenge on Indiana Pacers who defeated them in the previous game.It was a weird kind of schedule which had the two teams playing back to back.Richard Jefferson was on fire like he has been all over this season and his 34 points helped nets rout the pacers 102-91.Marcus Williams added 13 dimes and 8 points to ease the absence of Jason Kidd.Vince carter shot well to score 24 points and center Josh Boone scored 19 points and grabbed 13 boards. For the losers Danny Granger had 29 points and Mike Dunleavy added 19 points.Pacers have now lost four of their last five as their quest for playoff is becoming harder and harder.

JASON KIDD ALL SET TO RETURN TO DALLAS

New Jersey captain and future hall of fame point guard Jason Kidd is all set to become a part of blockbuster western conference trade by heading to Dallas Mavericks.Jason Kidd was involved in this trade rumour for the past two months and recently it was rumoured that Devean George was the culprit as he refused to be traded to the nets. The deal if it comes through will send Jason Kidd and Malik Allen to the Dallas and the nets will get Devin Harris,Trent Hassell,Desagna Diop,Maurice ager, two future first round draft picks and some cash along with the semi retired power forward Keith Van Horn.It is highly unlikely that Nets will prefer to keep Van Horn let alone play him.Well Dallas has been desperate to win a title and Lakers and Suns boosted their squad by adding players from the weak east. This trade will definitely make west stronger than ever and also tougher.

MAGIC SAIL PAST THE NETS

Dwight Howard did the star turn for Orlando Magic again as he showed the way with 21 points and 13 rebounds and the Magic won 100-84 against the struggling New Jersey Nets. The Nets have slumped to 20-29 this season and have touched the nadir and Vince Carter and Jason Kidd have been the biggest disappointments for them season.Six players scored in double figures for Orlando while Vince Carter scored 18 points and Jason Kidd scored 13 and dished out seven dimes.VC has been averaging only 20 points a game this season and this is a far cry from 24 points per game career average and the worst season since his rookie season though he has been dishing out more assists. This is not the game expected from a superstar like Carter and his poor form has slid New Jersey into worst season.

SHAQ ON THE TRADING BLOCK

According to the latest rumours Shaquille O Neal who is enduring a hip injury and the disastrous season of his career is all set to be traded to the phoenix suns for Shawn Marion and Marcus banks. But the question is that whether the Suns will give up a promising player and a superstar like Marion in his prime for a guy like Shaq who has had the lowest productive season so far in his career remains to be seen.If this trade is pulled off then it will go down as one of the least anticipated trades in the NBA history.Another question asked is that will O neal blend well in the Phoenix run and gun style of offense and their fast break offense. Will Marion be willing to go to Heat although he demanded to be traded at the start of the season?Well we must wait and see.

NUGGETS BEAT BLAZERS IN A OVERTIME THRILLER
