Williams unveil 2008 race livery

With just ten days to go until the Australian Grand Prix gets underway in Melbourne, Williams have unveiled their 2008 car's definitive race livery. The blue and white design will grace the Toyota-powered FW30 throughout the coming season.

The Formula One season will get underway in just ten days time at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne and Team Williams have finally unveiled their 2008 car’s definitive race livery.

The blue and white design will be the signature colours of the Toyota-powered FW30 throughout the coming season.

The team from Britain ran six commemorative liveries over the past winter’s testing period to mark their 30th anniversary in Formula One racing.

The unique and special paint jobs included one which had handwritten messages from each of the seven world championship-winning drivers while the other bedecked the car with the statistical landmarks that the squad will celebrate over the span of 2008.

Williams come into the 2008 campaign on the back of a strong season the last time out, finishing fourth in the constructors’ championship with a total of 33 points. Nico Rosberg will be joined by his new teammate Kazuki Nakajima and test driver Nico Hulkenberg for this year and all the drivers will be looking forward to making waves in the racing arena.
