GARNETT NOT A CERTAINITY FOR THE ALL STAR GAME
There is only a 50-50 chance that the all star starter and Boston Celtics power forward Kevin Garnett will play in the all star game to be held at the New Orleans.Doc Rivers the coach of Boston Celtics said that Kevin Garnett needed to play against New York Knicks on Wednesday to prove that he is healthy and can compete at the all star game.Garnett has missed six straight games due to an abdominal strain including the win over for his former team Minnesota Timberwolves 88-86.Kendrick Perkins was also injured in that game for Celtics and the frontcourt is now hampered by injuries for Boston.
