Dinara Safina showed that she has emerged well and truly from big brother Marat Safin shadows with a hard fought win in the fourth round over Maria Sharapova. She established her title credentials with a 6-7,7-6,6-2 win over her much fancied opponent and set up a quarterfinal clash with Elena Dementiava.
