Sania Mirza swept aside fifth-seeded Italian Flavia Pennetta in straight sets to move into the second round of the Ordina Open. Sania completed a comfortable 6-4, 6-3 win over the world number 23 Pennetta. This was Sania's first win in three months after being out of the circuit with a wrist injury. The Indian ace with take on Michaella Krajicek of Netherlands in the next round.
