France just went past Ecuador in the international friendly soccer held yesterday. Debutant Bafetimbi Gomis strengthened his claims for inclusion in the final squad for France in Euro 2008 as he came off the bench to score two spectacular goals. The striker made it through to the 30 man squad by the virtue of his superb goal scoring performance in the French ligue this season.
