The chairmain of the Indian selection commitee Dileep Vengsarkar has said that selection to the Indian team will be done on the basis of merit only. He also disapproved of the suggestion that youngsters must be selected ahead of the experienced seniors. Vengsarkar has said that merit alone is the criteria and not age or other factors.
